I’d ask the gyno and the neuro, but even your pharmacist(s) should be able to answer it. I say pharmacist(s) because my insurance uses a “specialty pharmacy” for Copaxone, but I still use my regular pharmacy for all other meds. Both have always been the most helpful for these types of questions 😊

I've been using the nuvaring for 4 years, 2 of those years I was on Avonex, I am currently on Tysabri. I haven't had any problems over the last 4 years with any of the medications interacting with each other. Asking your neuro is definitely a good idea, also your primary physician.

I talked with my DR about this because they made me promise to use contraception while on Tecfidera. This is tough for me because I don't want to go back on birth control pills after being on them for so many years, but it was definitely one of the options he gave - I don't think he would have recommended that if it would be bad for my MS. I'm also very sensitive to latex and even non-latex condoms, so that's not really a viable option. Definitely something I need to keep talking with my DRs about too, although it's not my favorite topic to discuss with them! Let me know if you find out something helpful - and I will, too! XX
