Question for anyone out there.....
Having issues with one of my feet. Of course it has to be the 'good side' LOL
Woke one morning, about 2 weeks ago, with random pain on the side of my foot. It has since progressed to 'lightning bolt' into my middle toes. And feels like it is the size of a soccer ball when I weight bear.
No injury, no obvious trauma.
All comments and advice welcomed!!
I had severe pain (level 10) in my right arm up to 6 times a day and up to an hour in length for 2 years with little help from traditional pain meds. My doctor suggested that I go on Tegretol (both chewables (100 mg - 1 or 2 as needed) and regular (200 mg - i in the AM and 2 at night). I no longer have the pain. I did recently have a hospital stay where they failed to give me this med and the pain returned until I started taking the Tegretol again. Good luck.
It is probably the muscles in your feet causing the issue. I get pain in my feet when one muscle moves because I desire it to do so and the other simply stays. It hurts a lot and the only way I can stop it is by standing up, which causes the muscles to go back to a normal position.
My feet were hurting before My MS DX. There is a name for the Lightening Bolt feeling that You are getting and I can not think of the word now. This is MS and I am sure some one will tell You the name. I know that it stars with a L.
