What was the first sympthoms you had when you were first diagnosed
Optic neuritis.
Foot drop and leg weakness.
18 years before I was diagnosed I had an episode with my left eye; losing vision/absence of color. 18 years later, I went to bed one night with a severe backache which radiated around the front. In the morning, my toes felt like they were stuffed with cotton balls and I was numb from my toes to waist. This included my hands. The rest is history.
BALANCE!
My left eye would not focus and it felt as if I was on a boat trying to balance
