I couldn't for a long time.. maybe a year or more. After this and a steroid treatment for a moderate relapse I can again. (But only wedge heels) Also I have found out proper fit makes a HUGE difference. I am really a 5 1/2 but all my life have settled for 6 (that is what is in the stores) However I find now that I MUST order the correct size. If not (even in flats) by midday my legs are fatigued from just making the tiny subconscious adjustments to compensate for the bigger size. I end up shuffling my feet because my legs/feet are too tired to lift them anymore and hold them on my feet. I also have a tendency to do this on surfaces I don't feel comfortable on- either slippery of uneven. What I'm trying to say is it can come and go and really evaluate to see something is contributing to the issue we already have.😃
I wear heels..
booties/wedge very cool looking...
Nope. Fell too many times. Donated them all to goodwill.
I've always loved heels, I have noticed I wear heels less now than when i was diagnosed 10 years ago (i'm only 30 so I don't know if age has that much to do with it). I haven't had any foot or ankle injuries that would warrant lower heels, and my hubby is 6'4 to my 5'6 so height difference is not a problem either. For 4 inch heels if they have a 1/2 platform i find it much easier to walk in them, otherwise I feel like I "totter" too much and need to hang on my husband for support.
I can walk in stilleto heels , I did on Thanksgiving (my bday) just fine it's like I don't have Ms guess because I got treated early
