Has anyone tried this over-the-counter allergy med? I’m very interested in it as it has been proven to actually repair myelin and reverse deficits, with a no serious adverse effects.
I have recently heard some discussions pertaining to this as well. And upon reflecting, I used to have quite extreme allergy issues in the spring. Took an over the counter antihistamine (which contained clemastine fumerate) and my symptoms of MS relapses were much less. Going to talk to my Neuro about taking it constantly to have a positive affect.
I have been taking 10.72mg daily (2 2,68mg tablets twice daily. I am also on three Facebook clemastine fumerate group I am mirroring the phase I I trial and will take for 6 months along with 1000mg Taurine (twice daily). Taurine has been shown to facilitate the maturing ofor ologodendites that are responsible for producing myelin action to wrap around bad axons damaged by multiple sclerosis so far no side effects and am in my second month. Will update monthly here and on Facebook group.
@A MyMSTeam Member - I had extreme allergies many years ago. Hives everywhere but no one knew why. I also had a rash on my foot that was ultimately diagnosed as granuloma annulare, which is nothing serious and no real cause but also no concern. Oddly enough, looking it up now I’m finding it’s more likely in people with autoimmune conditions....
@A MyMSTeam Member - There are so many links and studies on this it’s insane! This is the kind of stuff I’m trying to look into further. In my opinion, the MS specific meds don’t do enough given the risks associated with them, yet I feel crazy when expressing that because too many judge and act like it’s ignorant of me to look into these alternatives 😬
Here is the first, and original Facebook group for Clemastine Furmarate for MS. It was started on 10/19/17.
This is still a bit of a contraversial subject.

Thanks for bringing this up! I hadn't heard this before but there's definitely some interesting articles on the topic online. Here's one in case anyone is interested & wants to share it with their doctors.
