It seems the lesions are usually measured in mm, but my latest MRI report says “1.2 cm plaque at the cervicomedullary junction with mild associated cord atrophy”. That sounds quite large (12 mm) but can’t quite find the “right” answer searching the internet. Does anyone have better insight? It also says lower C2 and equivocally at C5 level.

You know whats funny? I have the same exact readings. To the letter. Same places and size, everything. The only difference is mine are on the C2-C5. I don’t worry sbout it myself. I figure a lesion is a lesion. Hey, maybe we’re related.

@A MyMSTeam Member - Yes, he shows me things on the monitor and explains. He is also one of the best and is an MS specialist. I certainly ask many questions and have actually had to call out doctors (or those within their office) who ignored things and did nothing when it turned out I wasn’t crazy for reaching out sooner than a scheduled appt. He is the only neuro so far that actually does listen and treats ME, not just me as “one of the 400,000 with MS”. If you need something immediate, you can call or text his cell, not just call the office and wait in line unanswered. My appointment is in 2 weeks.
I was just wondering if others on this site had anything similar and how it has affected them, either now or over time. Those are the questions he can offer insight and guidance on, but I thought this site was for support from others living with MS and helping each other out with advice/support from their own personal experiences.
