I can't seem to get into a deep sleep where I wake and feel like I rested. I am up and down with these freaking cramps that sometimes start in the feet or legs and then work their way up into my back and sometimes they start in the hands and then to the neck. HOW do I get rid of them? DR says Tizandinine and that helps some, some say add more potassium and I do, and some say mediate....so what else is there? I try it all and I still have these almost nightly. Any ideas? I will take any I can… read more
I sleep like a new born... I wake up every couple of hours...
I have 2 ‘remedies’ . The first is a bit of salt - keep a salt shaker on your nightstand. The other is quinine - which you can get be drinking the drink mixer Tonic Water - but not the diet version. My dad had horrific leg cramps and my mom had him start drinking the Tonic Water (without the booze lol) and he stopped having cramps. Let me know if either work for you!
I also suffered sleep paralysis now it been a while since i have hopefully it will never happen again so scarey
Good Morning @A MyMSTeam Member....I did go this week and had my blood work done and NO My vitamin levels are really good. My potassium is a slight short but not to the point it alerted the DR's but they did decide to add an extra potassium and an extra magnesium to my daily doses for the next 2 weeks and then want to see how that goes. And they added Carnation Instant Breakfast daily for this week and then 3 times a week after this. I did start that on Wednesday and last night I had a good night, no cramping and woke with no headache....I am cured!!!! LOL ... I wish it was that easy!
BUT thanks and you have a good day and a great weekend. Go EAGLES!!!! :-)
I think you have a vitamin deficiency...have your levels checked especially your vitamin B levels.....i think you will find a shortage there.......
