I've been having a bit of trouble with gait lately and have identified that my knee hyper extends and basically the leg wants to stay straight rather than bending to walk normally. It's making my gait.... funky. I have also been feeling a strange "pressure" sensation around that knee. Anyone else have a smilier experience?

I know the feeling Jennifer, we can all be stubborn, it's what keeps us going x

I have issues with the buckling of my knees as well. I just started seeing a new physical therapist who I am hopeful can not only help me with my knees but also with my gate. I use a cane and my steps are quite small anymore. I'll keep you posted as to the progress and any modifications made with the PT.

Thank you. I am really hoping to avoid a cane, but I guess I'm being stubborn. Keep me posted, I too would like to try PT.

I was rapidly developing a "gaity" walk but found that with the simple addition of a walking cane, solved the problem.

@A MyMSTeam Member. I do think I'm having a mild relapse. Ugh.
