Does Anyone Have KNOTS Left Over From Betaseron Injection? And Do They Hurt?
Mine are starting to hurt and work their way right underneath the skin.
In 3 yrs, I never got chills, flu-like symptoms or depression from Betaseron. Im not a fan of injections but if it keeps on working, I guess Im sticking with it. (pun intended).
I no longer am taking Betaseron. I did see a 10 best list for taking Betaseron. Number 10 was 'those fever induced chills will keep you comfortable on those hot summer nights'. I showed that list to neurologist at the time, and my neurologist was Dr. Barry G. Arnason. He was also one if the researchers developing Betaseron. When he got to #10 he just started laughing.
I agree with you Mrs Shiney .After reading the book Healing multiple sclerosis,I dicided to try the natural way and started changing my eating habits to healthy ones little by little I'm feeling better physically and mentally, also started taking the recommended supplements.Lets see what happens ,at least I feel I'm not poisoning my body as much.one thing for sure I finally was able to stop and control my urinary track infections, with out tacking any more antibiotics.
Ive been on Betaseron since my diagnosis 3 yrs ago. I dont get knots just the occasional red mark that could last a week or so. Im lucky. Thats been my only side affect and I havent relapsed. Im knocking on wood right now. Ive tried every cream but an ice pack for a knot may be your best bet. Good luck!
What kind of eating habits did you change was it hard to change very interested
