I belong to a private facebook group for tumefactive MS. Theres about 500 of us and its been so helpful. I have learnt more from that than any neuros. Because its so rare most doctors dont know much about it. So we all compare symtoms and meds and stories. Do a quick search on facebook for tumerfactive multiple sclerosis

It acts like relapsing and remitting. I've seen mris where people's lesions shrink a great deal after solumedrol steroids
