MS Hug

A MyMSTeam Member asked a question 💭
Palm Harbor, FL

I have had horrible abdominal pain all day, lower abdominal area. Can this be the MS hug or is that only higher up? I don't know what else it could be!

Hi @A MyMSTeam Member I hear ya! When it's related to hormones, I use clary sage essential oil. When it's digestive (like from my Tecfidera or something I ate disagrees with me) I use degestzen essential oil in and around my belly button. Those two oils are life savers with abdominal pain. Good luck to you! Hope you find relief soon! XX

MS hug is a tight band around your chest or ribs and sometimes effect one side of your torso. Can sometimes feel it's effecting your breathing.

You should see a doctor. Abdominal pain could be related to the appendix, kidney stones, ovarian cysts...just to name a few. The hug should feel like restriction around the body - like a corset.

The are digestive, abdominal issues with MS. I'm having bad GERD. Symptom of MS.
MS causes a lot of issues....I just Google "the issue and MS" and resources come up to look at. Hope that helps.
