Lots of good information here.
I recommend getting Terry Wahls book "Minding Your Mitochondria" she gives excellent detailed information on the nutrients our brains need at the cellular level. And a reference guide/list with amounts of each and recommended sources including the omega 3, 6 and 9. She is a doctor who also has MS and was in a wheelchair and got herself out of it by self-educating about nutrition. Her book is easy to read and a great reference guide I keep it handy.
@A MyMSTeam Member buying high quality without high cost has become challenging. Growing your own crops and livestock used to be the way of this country, now our too busy citizens rely on inflated priced mass marketing trends to sustain basic function. Impeachment sounds good right about now.
I consume both foods and healthy oils. I have worked in the health food industry for some time and I am very familiar with the oils extraction process. I'm careful with fibers like flax, though it contains healthy phytoestrogen (plant estrogen) it's best consumed in moderation. I hold fast in saying extractions do not replace full potential of healthy foods.
@A MyMSTeam Member My grandmother lived next door to us and half of our backyard was her garden. It was wonderful!
