My neurologist gave me the names of two charitable foundations to apply to for help with the $2000/month copays I had with Medicare for the Tecfidera when I was on it but I googled charitable foundations that help with medical costs and found several more.
I am trying to remember the names.
You have to apply when they have open funds for MS.
Some of them are PAN which is Patient Assistance Network, Healthwell, Patient Advocate Foundation, Healthwell, Good Days,
The Assistance Fund etc. Each program is different and some of them you can apply by phone or online but usually only if they have open funds for your disease.
I researched everything on the Internet because I was desperate and Biogen, the drug manufacturer said their assistance program was not for people on Medicare Disability but I found out they do make exceptions if you have exhausted all other possibilities and it helps if your Drs office contacts them.

All of my MS drugs that I have tried went sent directly from the company or specialty pharmacy. I am now on Tecfidera which comes from CVS Specialty, my co-pay is $3 a month.

But there are charitable foundations that allow you to apply for a grant to cover your Medicare copays when they have open funds for MS.
