Ive noticed that my libido has dropped and my fiancée is high driven when it comes to sex. Now im not trying to put all my busy out there and this isnt everyone's forte but they say oral is suppose to keep you from loosing your sex drive mainly women ive heard this pertaining to dont know about men.
I know when I'm not in the mood i just do it anyway and find out that i really needed it as well as enjoyed it, sex in general that is. Its frustrating and i feel bad for my fiancée but he understands and patient .
HAPPY BIRTHDAY.
Sex??? That went down hill for me. If meds don't do it, MS seems to.
I'm sorry to hear you are having problems.
This is a not only a male erectile dysfunction problem but also a female sexual dysfunction problem. Yes, you have to learn to adapt to your own situation. If you sit and mope about your MS you will only get worse and find yourself alone. Same with sex. Don't mope about it, learn how to adjust sex to your new way of life. There is no quick solution, it is all trial and error, mostly error until you find what works for you. A partner that understands and is willing to help is your greatest asset. Explain what you want, need, dislike, like, etc. so your partner is not left in the dark as to your desires. Just remember that your partner does not suffer bad days like you so this could be your chance to give him/her their own time and pleasure. You may not feel like it but fair is fair. This is where you don't need to exert a lot of energy but a lot of touch. Communication is the key and in our case, we need verbal communication to help overcome our erectile/sexual dysfunction.
Sex whats that???????????
Still love it and still do it, but definitely not always in the mood when my MS flares and my body doesn't feel like mine for a few weeks. Thankfully I usually bounce back (at least so far). Gone some long spells without which had never been the case in my adult life pre MS. So yeah, it's a change, but I'm ok with it. I was telling someone today about the 5 love languages - and one of my favorite ways to receive love was "physical touch". Now, a few years into this MS journey, now I gravitate towards "acts of service" and "quality time" more. "Receiving gifts" & "Words of Affirmation" haven't changed much....but definitely the ways I prefer to receive love, and the ways I prefer to give love have changed over time. XX
