There are many theories about who is most susceptible to developing MS. One theory that I find fascinating is the theory that it is genetic - and the carriers are descendants of Vikings. I blame my Viking ancestors.
I did 23& me. It was $200 at the time but I think ancestry.com is cheaper.
I'm mostly Irish/British/French (yes Viking, and my family genealogy verified it) with a smattering of German, Scandinavian and up to 25% West and North African! Talk about a surprise. I'm the red headed Irish girl with very dark African and Eqyptian ancestors! Lol
I have zero Native American or Inuit. Basically I'm a Western European mutt with a very interesting twist. I love it!
I am 99% European, with 60% of that English/ Irish and 35% German/ French, I wonder if anyone has accurate numbers of people with MS not from European decent
Like you say haven't done a DNA test but my ancestors do go back to the Viking area
I need to do 23 and me but my niece did it and it shows eastern European with a smidgen of Greek.. Not sure where that came from
