Could Anybody Recomend A Good Quality Mattress For Somebody With Ms ( Veiws On Tenper Mattresses)
I recently bought a temperpedic like mattress from Amazon called green tea 10” mattress. It’s wonderful. Tried it at a friends house I was staying at and bought it as soon as I got home.
I recently bought a Luxury Firm WinkBed king mattress. I have severe degenerative disc disease in addition to MS. It was the absolute best investment I have ever made. I rest so much better now. This last exacerbation has skyrocketed the hypersensitivity. The larger bed allows me, and my husband to roll over, or move, without bumping into one another. I’m all about less pain these days. 😁😁
The mattress was expensive, but payments are very manageable. It has made a HUGE difference for me.
WinkBed mattresses have to be turned every 2 weeks for the first 3 months to break them in evenly. With the disease advancement I can’t do things like that by myself anymore. It doesn’t help that my bed frame is wrought iron and has a very tall head and foot board. I had to enlist several grandchildren to turn my mattress every couple of weeks. 🤭🤭. Now we just have to do it every 2 months.
If this sounds like something you wouldn’t be able to do on your own, or don’t have anyone to help you, you might want to possibly go a different route. But the WinkBed is truly amazing.
I Have A Nap Queen It's A Good Mattress
Tempurpedic mattress are the best memory foam mattress, hands down. I don't know about the expensive air beds though. I think for me the base of my bed - adjustable with massage features, is just as important as the mattress, but I highly recommend the actual tempurpedic mattresses. Other foam mattresses are not the same. I wish they were more affordable but I guess if you are that good you get to be ridiculously expensive.
