So i have a busy work life so i do my injections in the evening, however i have a busy home life also. I set an alarm on my phone for my meds, but if i am busy i just snooze it or it gets deleted. Then i go to bed exhausted without taking my meds. What are ways that you have found helpful in remembering to take meds? My injections have to be in the fridge, so i cannot place them close to my bed or bathroom sink.

Members responded with a variety of creative strategies for the challenge of remembering to take medications, especially injections that require refrigeration. Several members suggested using voice assistants like Amazon Alexa to give verbal reminders, placing bright sticky notes in visible spots, or leaving a note on a pillow as a last-minute cue before bed. A helpful recurring tip was that some injectable medications like Copaxone can stay out of the fridge for up to 30 days, allowing members to keep a few doses in an easy-to-see spot like a bathroom drawer.

setting alarms on phone is good idea :) I have to put meds where I can see them each morning & evening, so my thought is in your fridge at eye level and in front of everything else, hope this gets easier for you

I take a pill, so its leaving my pill case by the coffee machine in the morning. If I were in your shoes I would put a piece of bright paper on fridge reminding me. ?

I take pain pills 3 times/day and have just gotten used to the times I take them. In the beginning I set alarms on my phone.

I use Amazon Alexa, and at 7:30pm every night, she tells me "I am reminding you to take my pills" I stop what I am doing and immediately go and take them. If by some slim chance I am going to be out, I put my pills in a bottle and set a reminder on my phone. I know that would be hard for injections. Just saying what works for me for oral medicines.

I second what someone said about Copaxone (and possibly other injectables) that you can keep them out of the refrigerator for several weeks. I would at least leave a couple in your room somewhere so they are easily accessible when you wake up or are getting ready for bed. Keep all supplies next to the medicine so everything is really easy to get to. I would always make the attempt to take it in the morning. Set two alarms and don't ignore them. But if you do forget, at least you have the rest of the day to do the injection.
