Has anyone deal with hair loss from Tecfidera? I'm losing a lot daily and have switched shampoos and that's not helping. It's the only medication I'm on. Any suggestions?

I was on it for 4 years. No hair loss. I stopped in October due to sudden nonstop itching. Woke uo in middle of the night itching all over. Lasted months. Immunologists and dermatologist couldnt find out why. Stopped Tecfidera & it stopped. It took a few months to get out of my system. I wish it didnt happen. It was the easiest regimen.

I have been on tecfidera for about a year and I havent noticed any increased hair loss. You could try biotin or keratin supplements for healthier hair and increased growth?

I took Techfidera years ago. But no hair loss. I am currently with no lesions over 12 years. I have hair loss for two years. My doctor who has had chemotherapy suggested Biotin tablets OTC and Biotin Shampoo and Conditioner. It is helping.

I took it many years no hair loss. But sometimes it is related to diet. Talk to your doctor to get blood tests etc
