Lately my legs seem to be either in a full blown spasm/cramp for a few minutes or constantly feel like they are on the verge of a spasm and they twitch or jerk quite often. Is this what spactisity is like in a milder form? Also it just seems like walking has gotten harder over the past few months is this from the spasms?

I'm also an advocate for the MS Gym. I've been able to relieve the spasticity in my legs with daily workouts from there.

I also do the MS Gym. I've found that releasing the tension at various locations really makes a difference. I particularly get tightness in my hips. Good luck.

Check out themsgym.com as they address leg spasms and give specific exercises to help relieve the spasms. I know exactly what you're talking about and know stretching has helped me a ton.

I can definitely relate to the twitching and cramping part; I have that often and daily. But I've never had them "lock up" in a full spasm either.
