I get charlie horse horse pains in my feet that starts near the toes and spreads throughout my entire foot and up my calf. These occur most nights and wakes me up from a deep sleep, that is if I didn’t have it prior to me falling asleep. They are extremely painful.
Does anyone else experience this? If so, what helps ease the pain?

I'm a medication minimalist by nature. One if the things I found after I joined the MS Gym was that all of the "releases" we do with the exercises really helped release the relentless spasticity in my muscles. I now have a morning routine where I go through the "releases" in my legs and hips before I head down for breakfast and work. That has been a real lifesaver for me. Although it is a process and requires work, so not as easy as popping a pill. Good luck.

Are you prescribed a muscle relaxer for spasticity? I suggest you discuss these symptoms with your Neurologist.

Thanks Cristy. I completely agree. He stated that if I have adverse effects from medication and he places me on two different medications at the same time, he will know what’s helping or not. I will see about getting a pain management doctor. Thank you

You need someone who will help everything. Why suffer when they can't even figure out how to help the headaches? I had a pain management doc that said that same BS one thing at a time but MS is not one pain at a time. Find another that will help! Good luck.
