Has anyone used the TruStem therapy located in Lake forest, IL. I am thinking of traveling to Lake Forest to receive this therapy soon and want to know if any of you know of this company or procedure. Is it legit or a scam? I'm not looking for a miracle, just some relief. Thank you some much.
The one in Chicago that is mentioned, TruStem Therapy, is adispose therapy, the stem cells are harvested from your fat cells.
At best it's considered a Snake Oil treatment, and a great way to deplete your savings account.
I have never seen anyone with MS report a positive outcome with adipose therapy.
I have not done it, but am curious about it. I'm from Illinois and spoke a woman who did stem cell therapy by Chicago with remarkable results. I can't remember the doctor's name she went to and I'm not sure if this is the same place she went. The way she explained it to me is that in true MS fashion, different people react differently to it. She says that in some people it will dramatically change their life for the better, in others it doesn't really do much. The doctor she went to only does the stem cell therapy for RRMS. I'll ask for his name again. Hope this helps.
Sure. If you can get the name that would be great. I went to Panama's Stem Cell Institute in Jan 2017. It work OK really cleared up my brain fog, Some muscle activity but very expensive 25 grand. But I think the early you do it the better. I've had MS for 36 years,(a long time)
mandyb918, I got back from my stem cell treatment in Chicago. Requests are minimal: left calf is still useless. right knee free somewhat better, less pain. Bladder is less sensitive, overall this treatment had less noticeable changes than the treatment in Panama. Recommendation: I would wait a little longer for the treatment process to mature before I would try it again. :
no bone marrow.
