Yes yes, safely go for it, PT should have had you on aquatic therapy or got you started with that therapy, water do provide resistance for our muscles too.
Aqua therapy is a part of physical therapy, definitely do what works best. Awesome job!
Yes it's brilliant for spacticity and strength and can get heart rate up .Use equipment foam noodles sometimes and foam dumbbells lots of exercises with these .Also floats like kids use in swimming lessons.If you can get a physio to show you exercises in the pool you can do on your own too it's good . Equipment if needed for pool and aqua shoes if you need these can buy off Amazon.
