I have been taking Betaseron since it first became available in the 90s. Fortunately I have had good insurance coverage through my employer. Next year I will be retiring and signing up for medicare. I am wondering if there is a Part D supplement out there that covers any of the DMDs? And if there is what is the cost and what is the deductible? Does anyone have any comments? Thanks.
you won't know till you try,have a great day/evening.
I am on Aubagio, it’s a pill . The company has a program that assists my insurance whereby I have zero co-pay.
apply to an assistance fund, they pay the copay, depends on your income as to how much assistance you will get.
you nave to apply for ss disability.you will be on disability until you turn 65 then the regular ss kicks in,this is what i did.
I am trying to find a way to know ahead of time what my options are. I was told to go to medicare.gov. When I did the site kept asking for my medicare number before continuing further on the site. It is my understanding that you don't sign up for Medicare until 3 months prior to turning 65. Right now I have 14 months before I turn 65. Does anyone know whether to just get a Medicare number I could sign up now or do I need to wait until I reach 3 months before turning 65? I know I wouldn't be on Medicare until 65.
