A member with MS and three kids asked about online work opportunities to supplement their SSI income, and the community responded with several helpful resources and ideas. Several members shared specific leads including Chronically Capable, a remote job site designed for people with chronic illness, the Ability Job Fair, work-from-home companies like TELETECH and HSN, and MS Navigators who maintain a list of remote work opportunities. A recurring theme was the community's genuine care for this member's situation, with practical suggestions tailored to someone who cannot walk and needs flexible, online-based income.

I was listening to a MS podcast this morning and they were talking about
Chronically Capable. It's a job site for remote jobs for us with a chronic illness. I haven't checked it out yet but it could be a great resource.

I've heard that the MS Navigators can help with this and point you in a direction of a list they have of suggested remote work opportunities.

Maybe look up the Dept. Of Vocational Rehab in the state you live in. They maybe can assist in fitting you with a job.

It's not aloof money, but if you are physically up to it you can also babysit or dog sit. Some kids are older and just need somewhere to go before and after school.
