For those that experience dizziness, im curious to how you would describe the symptom.
When doctoes first asked i always imagjned dizziness as spinning around in a circle. I have times whwre it feels like my head is full or la similar head feeing of like “ needing air to breathe”. I struggle to describe it and it seems to be sporadic.
@A MyMSTeam Member, You explained this explained this perfectly.
I've also described it as though the barometric pressure was perhaps messing me up, I felt like I had air pockets in my head.. my ears pop often and I feel like my head is inflated.. something like that.
I have had days when I swear I'm feeling small earthquakes . Or vibration and light headed... A blanket I can't escape from while trying to keep my balance .. I've had people tell me I sound crazy when explaining ... Idc .. I know the wondering if is this another frigging MS symptom ....and not even wanting to look it up.. I wish this group would have been around when I was diagnosed..
I call mine the bobble head syndrome... (Like the dash bobble heads)...I tell them to put on a pair of glasses, about 2x the strength of theirs, and function with them..... That's my daily dizzy
Hi.. dizziness is one of my most prominent symptoms.. or as I call it now.. imbalance. For me it is not spinning (usually). It is more like the world or my perception of it is undulating. I feel like I have sea legs or like I just got off an elevator. At one time I had the feeling like things were shifting up and down like vibrating... but not the same for each eye.. and that is exactly what was happening... (a flare, optic neuritis) both my eyes were indeed vibrating but not in sync. Often, I feel like I am swaying and/or the world around me is swaying. I think that is the main difference.. whether you feel like you are moving or you feel like the world around you is moving. The best way for me to figure that out is to see how I feel with my eyes shut and with my eyes open, the difference means something. Hope that helps.
