Podcasts
I work a normal 7-4pm job and regularly have my headphones in listening to podcasts on MS and overall health.
Does anyone listen to any that you would recommend?
Currently, I listen to FU MS, OMS Living Well with MS, The MS Gym and Autoimmune Wellness podcast.
It's just nice to hear discussion on what helps others and gain more info on areas I've always been curious about.
Personally i find it counterproductive, in the early days i looked for answers and/or information. Eventually i reached a point where i realised that it really didn't matter what i knew or hoped, rather than focusing on that i now choose to focus on looking after myself as best as i can and just getting on with it, it's all part of the 5 stages of grief and getting to a place of acceptance.
I haven't check out This American Life but I'll look into it.
I started listening to Life Imagined. It's stories about famous people with their upbringing and challenges. You won't know who the person is until the end so it was cool to learn stuff that we would never really know.
I'll admit that I do listen to some Real Housewives and Bachelor podcasts! haha
Too much MS for me to listen in on... But I do like a podcast, This American Life. Very weird, but very real stories of life!
Podcasts were an excellent tool for my position in nutritional sales, I had a chance to listen to different companies share their scope and goals and the benefits of their products very fascinating stuff. via YouTube I visit other topics.
I totally get it. When it comes to podcasts in general, I love a good story or someone to make me laugh while I'm at work.
As far as health podcasts, I'm just naturally curious and I love hearing others take on MS. With podcast stories it's more informative. Some I can relate to others are just interesting.
