My general doctor, my Nero, nor my pain management doctor can tell me why I get these headaches. Nothing touches them. I suffer through them for up to 5 days kicking and screaming from the pain. I've been reading up on cluster headaches. What I have read sounds like what I deal with. None of my doctors have mentioned anything about cluster headaches. I wonder why.

Members responded with empathy and shared their own experiences with cluster headaches and migraines, offering a range of remedies that have helped them find relief. Several members suggested practical options including CBD oil, ice and cold compresses, aromatherapy with migraine oil blends, and prescription medications like Topiramate and butalbital, while one member recommended seeking out a headache specialist rather than relying on general practitioners. A recurring theme was the frustration of not finding effective treatment, paired with a strong sense of community support and encouragement to keep advocating for better care.

I get them too and have never found good treatment for them. I was desperate and found that CBD oil did help quite a bit. I know it’s not for everyone though. It was sweet relief however.

My daughter had a lot of migraine headaches. We went to an ENT, dry needling/PT, massage, chriopractors and dieticians. The Imitrex and all that stuff..no help. Try finding an actual Headache specialist. That is the route we took.
