Have noticed that cuts, bruises and burns tend to take a long time to heal completely. I'm not diabetic or pre-diabetic either.

Members discussed whether slower healing of cuts, bruises, and burns is linked to Copaxone or other DMTs like Tecfidera, Gilenya, and Aubagio. Several members shared that they experienced slow healing and easy bruising across different medications, with many concluding it may be more of an MS symptom than a side effect of any one drug. A recurring theme was the importance of talking to your neurologist, advocating for yourself, and a few members mentioned that taking vitamins like D3 and Biotin helped support their healing.

I'm on Tecfidera and I've noticed slower healing of cuts/wounds.

I am on something other than Copaxone, but yes. I burned my hand on the oven maybe three weeks ago. Just a 1/2 inch if that, and it just went away a few days ago. I wasnt as diligent with Neosporin, as maybe I could have been, but I also have thought it takes cuts and burns longer to heal with or without ointments, etc.

I’ve never had that drug, but our immune systems are shot so it could be that. I get loads of bruises but can’t remember where they come from Love and. Hugs H xx
