I had 2 l.p. that were clear. My dx was based on brain MRI and Optic Neuritis.

Mine was clear also and my MRI was bad.

My LP was positive for bands. In the report it noted "Oligoclonal bands are
present in approximately 95 percent of patients with multiple
sclerosis but may also be present in the CSF from patients with
viral or bacterial meningoencephalitis, subacute sclerosing
panencephalitis, neurosyphilis, Guillain-Barre syndrome, or
meningeal carcinomatosis."

I had a Lumbar test in the begining but nothing show up it was all on my brian scan with the Lesions

Sounds life you've had a rough run with specialists too. So far I've been told I still have rrms that's all I know atm
