I have been experiencing some mood swings or snapping at people that I care about. What have you done to stop or control them if you have them?
I am frustrated as I don’t see them coming. 🤔🥴

One thing or more you might want to try is getting to recognize the point at which you are feeling this way and use a deep breathing technique of taking in and holding a deep breath through your mouth for five seconds then releasing. Repeat as necessary until the feeling subsides. I forget what it’s called but it does work. A counselor may be able to give it a little more meaning and add other tools.

Hope this helps.

A common problem, as always it's hard to be positive when you feel like sh*t and can be easier to be grumpy, forewarn those around you who could be in the firing line and when possible make up for it,we all have bad times in life and I think most can understand that. Communication is the key and when possible show how much those around you truly mean to you. Remember..we all have hard times.

Also should add there are medications that suck the magnesium right out of us like most antiacids, aspirin even blood pressure meds...so you're depleating what you take in if you take these meds just a caution.

Mood swings is my middle name... trust me my friend, you are definitely not alone... when you feel like you want to snatch off someone's head... leave if you can.. go for a walk, go to the gym, mow the lawn.. they will understand.... you need some alone time to calm your mind... I find that being alone, along with some kind of activity to focus on gives my mind a distraction and allows my body to release that "pent-up" energy
