I wake up with pressure in my head, a slight dizziness/woozy feeling, and burning eyes no matter how long/well I sleep. It just gets worse throughout the day. I had a sleep study done and it was normal, so now I’m wondering if this could be from the Tecfidera?

I’ve been on Tecfidera for many years, side effects are flushing (redness and heat in face and chest). I do frequently feel woozy and dizzy, but this happened before Tecfidera too. I have not experienced burning eyes. Good luck to you, sending hugs 💕.

I don't use tecfidera but as far as your eyes, have the eye doc check to see if you produce enough tears. I don't and have tear duct plugs in both the top and bottom tear ducts of both eyes. It makes a world of difference! They dissolve over time (normally last 6 months or so). Mine dissolve faster and I know when it's time for new ones because of the terrible gritty, itchy, burning eyes.

I have been on Tecfidera for over three years. And recently informed my Dr that I have pressure behind my right eye and pressure in my temples and forehead when I settle down for the evening or lie down in bed. It did not bring any real concern or investigation. Do not attribute it to tec, but rather brain changes.
