I was having terrible pain from it, then I got put on a drug called Vimpat, which I take 3 times per day. I also take Carbatrol (name brand) 3 times per day. This probably explains (besides MS) why I'm more tired all the time.

I have it also. I took carbamazepine 1oomg every 4 hours. Couldn't stand the way it made me feel. I had the radio frequency ablation May of 2018 and it came back in April of this year. I can't take the meds so I'm seeing another neurosurgeon that does the gamma knife. Do a lot of research and read reviews on your doctor. I know how painful it is. Right now I'm only eating soups.

Yes, and the pain is outrageous! Make certain you have an effective medication on hand for the pain and something "extra" if it is over the top. I take 600 mg. gabapentin 3x/day and have 100 mg. capsules available if needed.

My doctor prescribed Nuvigil 240mg in the morning and it works great. It works way better than Ritalin ever did. But again this is me. Others may have had a much different experience.

Im looking for a non-tegretol cure myself.
