I've just been diagnosed at 72. I have had several autoimmune diseases (Crohn's for one) for over the last 30 years. I've been taking medications that help to suppress those diseases and the neurologist believes that could be the reason the MS didn't actually show up sooner. Yep ,in new zealand MS is to common,can't be too much further from the equator. The vitamin D thing might be something,in winter it's bloody cold so wrapped up warm,summer the sun is to strong so we cover up or hide in the shade. Since I started working full time outside my MS has been relatively stable . Might just be coincidence ..........

Yes statistically it is much more prevalent in the Northern hemisphere. I am in Canada
It's great to hear from someone that was diagnosed after 20 or 30. Yes like you I'm sure I've had it for a long time now that I know what some of the symtoms are.
I'm in Michigan. Heat is horrible on me
