Does anyone have trouble breathing and coughing. It gets so hard to get air in that it feels like you are going to pass out.
Does this happen to anyone else?

Members connected over breathing difficulties and coughing with MS, sharing that these symptoms are more common than expected and may be linked to MS itself, allergies, asthma, the MS hug, or even acid reflux. Several members shared practical strategies like using daily inhalers, keeping cough drops on hand, and sitting down with real juice when feeling faint from low oxygen. A recurring theme was the importance of seeing a doctor, with one member finding relief after learning their cough was caused by acid leaking into the lungs, giving the community hope that answers and treatment plans are possible.

More often than one would think. I also have had a couple of times that I was forgetting HOW to breathe. I as lucky enough to have an amazing friend that wasn't put off by my situation and put a lot of effort into reminding me every day until it resumed being a natural thing to do. When it starts feeling like you're going to pass .out, the best thing to do is sit down with a small glass of juice. (NOT a juice flavored beverage. REAL juice) and consume it slowly while your oxygen waits for the memo to get to it. It will get the memo and return to you.
