Symptom Log/app/journal?
Has anyone found a really good app or website for documenting daily health log? Looking for something that will have a way for me to input details about my day like what I ate, how much I slept, stress level, activity level, symptoms, pain, etc. I would like something that will help me aggregate that information over time so I can understand trends in what I do/eat and how I feel subsequently. On a related note, do people here find that it's possible to identify those trends and make… read more
I have trouble sleeping too?, because I have to go to the bathroom so much!
I've known folks that have kept good records of their MS days to look for patterns but I'm not that guy. I hope someone will respond with some suggestions for apps that may work for you. I do, however, know there is little rhyme or reason to MS symptoms for me. I had double vision, my Popeye era, for a brief time and thought I would have double vision forever but then it went away as suddenly as it appeared. I know that's an extreme example of unwanted symptoms but you'll find that's MS symptoms or at least the ones I'm lucky enough to deal with (really, I've grown accustom to MS's unpredictability). I know your newer to the whole MS thing but you found this site and kudos. I also recommend a live MS support group. I know I've joined several different groups in the Denver metro. If you are interested, check the national MS website or hit me back and I'll tell you what I know (not much) but I bet people in those groups either keep or have kept journals like you are interested in
Thank you! I am doing that too but looking for something I can record more often too, to help me identify things that I should do more of or avoid on a day-to-day basis. I have symptoms (and one in particular with numbness/tightness in my left hand and arm) that can have drastic swings in feeling ok to feeling terrible from day to day and trying to understand what drives that, if I can!
Yes, this journey we are all in is quite the journey..I was diagnosed 3 years ago. Was experiencing loads of difficulties and came across over coming multiple sclerosis OMS I felt I had nothing to lose and immediately went full force into it. Results have been great and I have been living my life, yes, I have MS, yes I have my disabilities... But have seen the difference some life changes have made. Good luck bless you and stay safe
