Does anyone have experience or thoughts on switching from Copaxone to a generic brand? And, which generic brand is preferred?
I've been on Copaxone for 18 months (40 mg) and need to switch due to cost. I didn't realize there are two generic brands - Mylan's Glatiramer Acetate and Glatopa. Is one better than the other? Are either very different from Copaxone?
On Copaxone for 15 yrs. I have been on both of the generics for about two yrs. now, and have not noticed any difference.
I also went from Using Copaxone to Glatopa - the generic brand. Only difference is the name, their exactly the same.
I went from Copaxone to Glatec...basically the same thing..no issues.
