My daughter and I call it " dead legs" normally it happens when its hot out, or walked to much,, your description is perfect the legs just get heavy and want to buckle underneath us..

I hate when that happens. Especially when I stop moving and I try to stand still and I'm like a flag on a windy day. Thats when ill lose control of my legs. They'll buckle or i'll just lose all strength, that's why when I start walking I try not to stop.
