Many of us describe' my MS leg/arm/hand (right or left) side, to identify which side of the body has been affected. My MS is all right sided to date.

Is there a more vulnerable side?

Members eagerly answered the question about which side of the body MS tends to affect most, with responses split fairly evenly between left and right, and many noting that both sides become involved over time. Several members shared that their affected side matches where their brain or spinal cord lesions are located, with a few noting that the dominant hand side seemed to take the hardest hit. A recurring theme was the shared struggle with handwriting, foot drop, numbness, and balance, all met with warmth, humor, and encouragement to keep moving forward.

Good morning Warriors,
We all know that there is no cure for MS, a depilating, unpredictable and potentially disabling disease that has unfortunately affected the best of us.
This is an awesome site and we're here to help and support each other not only thru the negative periods but thru the positive ones as well.
My motto is: Be determined to not let MS define you!
Take control of your life and be ever so determined and strong not
to let MS control it for you!
And lastly: Take care be safe and have a Marvelous Monday!

I am aware of your feelings about penmanship - or lack of - as a former English teacher, my cursive writing USED to be readable!. I have a tremendous tremor.. My penmanship consists of wild line's currently. Can you imagine staying in the lines of a grade book! OR write on the chalkboard!

Hi,Andy
My
My left side is more affected than the right. When I do yoga, I notice I can’t lift my left 🦵 as high as the right. I have drop foot 🦶 on the left side. I believe there other issues about the your body. What was your health like before diagnosis of MS?
I had cancer 3 times and pre-cancer twice and going through radiation and chemo for 1 and a half years which caused neuropathy in only my right side. I was under the electric blanket at least 1 and a half years to keep comfortable.. My right leg felt like dry ice was laying on it and it felt on fire.
There are so many factors to look at to really try to understand your makeup ( in your body). There are so many questions unanswered it I know we have the greatest group of scientist, doctors, navigators, etc, doing their best to eleminate this MONSTER! I know this was more than you asked about. Got on my band wagon👵
