Good afternoon π,
I have MS since I was in my early 20's so as you can imagine I've been on several types of treatments. My doctor wants to try something new, Aubagio. Does anyone use this medication and would they recommend using it?
Many thanks π.

Found it!
My Neurologist's nurse told me they have a lot of patients on it with not many problems. The drug company might have a program that can help you get it. I am not taking this one but I would consider it if I had to change. You can look up how effective it is. Be glad it is a pill! The other options are injections or infusions.
You can look up details and read reviews on drugs. com and web md and numerous other websites.
I hope it works out fine for you.
Lots of smiles!
Thank you for the response... I think a body can only take using these drugs on a time limit.
Have a wonderful night π β¨
I take TECHFEDERA, 2 pills a day. I did take COPAXON for many years with no results so when my next neurologist suggested pills I happily agreed. Good luck π
Well, today I got the news that a couple of my liver labs are way high. I will see a specialist about that to see why. But. Aubaugio causes sever liver damage, and most MS meds cause damage as well. My neuro's comment on my report she sent was that I may not be able to take meds.
Took Aubagio September 2018 to December 2019. Side effect: diarrhea, sometimes sudden, no warning. Sometimes I did not even know it happened until I went to bathroom! Did not improve over time, so I quit. Did not want to live life controlled by bathroom and too apprehensive to go out.
