Can Anyone Advised As To How I Can Get Help With Paying For My Tecefedera Mefication.

A MyMSTeam Member asked a question 💭

My husband will be returning in about 2 weeks and the private insurance from his job covered all expense except for the co/pay which was covered by a company as well.
Unfortunately my medicare advantage plan although covering all other meds the tecefedera wouldn't be covered.
Is there anyone who could advise as to whom I can contact to get assistance with paying for tnis much needed medication?
Any information would be greatly appreciated.

When I was on Tecfidera, I used a prescription assistance company
(Acreedo) to help pay for cost. It was offered regardless of income. I only had to pay $10/month.

Medicare covers tecfidera - your contact your insurance and ask for an exception to their coverage - i did and it covered it for me

Contact tecfidera maker for financial assistance - your neuro should be doing this for/with you! Also get in touch with the various Patient Assistance programs.
