I started Tecfidera on December 28th and had to stop taking it this week because it exacerbated my anxiety. However, anxiety isn't listed as a side effect. I felt like I was going crazy on Tecfidera and am having a horrible time sleeping because of my anxiety. Has anyone experienced this with Tecfidera?

I have been on tecfidera for over a year. I cant say that it has adversely affected my anxiety. Im sorry to hear that. Anxiety is no joke. I am now changing to vumerity. Tecfidera gives me regular flushing on my face and neck when im feeling rushed or stressed. But its managable

@A MyMSTeam Member: If you feel so inclined, perhaps you can contact tecfidera and let them know about the side effect. They record such things. I don't know the maker.

Similar with the sleeping, I've had trouble sleeping properly for a long time but it hasn't seemed to be connected or related to taking Tecfidera

Ironically, I'm on Tecfidera and deal with anxiety but I've never noticed the one affecting the other. My worst period of anxiety and depression happened to be during a time when I was not taking my medication
