And I have been I can barely get to a standing position if I have to crouch down to look at something. I get stuck and have to have someone pull me up or I have to use something to pull myself up with. It is bad if I am at a store and I am alone. The years of low activity along with whatever MS is doing to me has me in exactly the same situation as you.
I've spent 7 months using something I found to help, it's a slow slow journey but I'm getting there and this has become part of my life in an almost essential way now.
Invest in a Homedics Stretch yoga mat, best money you'll ever spend. It'll teach you where your problems are with your spine and pelvis and enable you to put some stretch into that area.
Gotta keep working at it, taken years to get my body in as bad shape as it is, gonna take a long time to sort those problems. This bit of equipment at least gives me a chance.

- Stretching and Exercise: Gentle stretching exercises and regular movement can alleviate pain. A physical therapist can provide guidance on appropriate exercises.
- Assistive Devices: Using assistive devices like a walker can help maintain independence and reduce pain by improving posture and gait.

For more detailed management tips, you can refer to the resources provided in the knowledge base.

ajloomis and Barbarajean69 thank you for responding. I am sorry for what you are experiencing. Sending hugs to you both. Barbara, my right hip is the worst too. I completely understand what you mean about it feels like it is going to break in half. I wish I could take away both of your pain and suffering.
