My doctor recommended that I get a cooling vest. I like to walk 2 miles several times a week. I live in coastal Texas where the summer temperatures are usually in the 90s and the humidity can be anywhere from 60 - 99%, it is hot! I'm worried that the vest itself will be cumbersome and make me feel hot versus the thin sleeveless shirt I now wear. Does anyone have an experience with the vests or other cooling devices that they are willing to share? In advance, thank you!

I hate mine. It cools using ice blocks. It's heavy, real bulky and even though I wore clothes under it hurt my nipples!!! 🥶

I have the vest, wrist coolers, neck cooler and believe it or not… bra coolers!! Love them all!! I understand heat, I live in Phoenix and do mot toelarate heat at all!!! Wrist and neck ones are quick to warm up, but the vest and bra ones work very well and keep working for a long time!!!!

The vests work or if you can afford it you can buy battery powered versions which are pretty good as well, here's a link to what I'm on about https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zACSfXx6f8I

Thank you msnomer! Sounds like it could be a little awkward as feared, but it works and that is what counts! lol on the tactical vest.
