I was diagnosed based on my spinal tap and 2 episodes of optic neuritis, but I don't have any lesions in my brain or spine.

I was diagnosed without any lesions. My MRI showed spots on my brain which can be caused from Migraines which I also suffer from. I was diagnosed with a spinal tap as well. I was diagnosed in June of 2013 and take Copaxone injections. I have had a few relapses but overall have been managing it without it progressing. I manage it with my medication and diet. Food has a major impact on me when it comes to my Fatigue. I find if i stay on a certain diet my fatigue is minimal and most of my symptoms only show when I have had a migraine or sick with something.

There is a very very small percentage of people who do not initially show lesions. If it remains that way for future MRIs they might consider another possibility. How many have you had so far? In my 1st year I had 3, but in my case they all had lesions.

No but i was diagnosed without having a spinal tap. I was diagnosed after having my skull fractured and then having an MRI done.
