Whats disability should i apply for? Im only 32 but cant do my job any longer. Thanks in advance!
I would first look for a lawyer that specializes in disability rights. Some states have agencies that do this. SSDI tries hard not to qualify people so if you apply and they turn you down APPEAL. Somewhere they may ask if you can do a different job so be prepared to answer why you can’t. Best wishes as you go forth - it’s a difficult process for too many people.
Being your only 32 definitely get an attorney. It’s harder for your age. You need strong medical records and doctors support and have worked at least 10 years full time. They’ll want a list of all jobs you have worked. It’s a long process and you can’t be gainfully employed while going through the process. Good luck. Read everything you can to learn the process and tips.
I agree with getting a disability . lawyer. They don’t get paid unless you win. I would make sure of that before hiring them.
I was denied twice before being awarded SSDI.
I registered on line, but the lawyer can do that for you.
It took me 2years to get on ssdi. But it was worth it cuz the day you apply is the day they look at even if you’ve been turned down a few times. Once you get on they will reimburse you from the first day you applied. It help to get a SS lawyer that specifically works in disability. Good luck to you.
