Members responded to a question about frozen shoulders caused by inflammation, with many sharing that they have dealt with similar pain in one or both shoulders, often linked to MS, spasticity, falls, or overuse. Several members recommended physical therapy as the most helpful treatment, with one sharing they regained full use of their shoulder after sticking with PT, while others mentioned steroid injections, therapeutic massage, and topical lidocaine for temporary relief. A recurring theme was that frozen shoulder is painful and frustrating, but staying consistent with stretching and treatment can bring meaningful improvement.

I have my shoulder injected with a steroid twice a year on average. It is in fact, MS related. Please talk with an orthopedic dr. Best advice I can give

I had it couple years ago. PT was only thing that helped. Stay with it, I got full use back.

I have a frozen right shoulder, its a form of spasticity. I get quarter zone injection , but it doesn't fix it , I get about 3 weeks and then its frozen again. Quite painful the injections.
