I found several bruisings under my armpit. I've found them on my forearm, my thighs and sides. I'vebeen having excessive ribcage spasms. The spasms radiant from armpits down my inner arm. I am bruising on my thighs.

Yes, I walk into walls/doorways. I also trip myself with the lovely drop toe. Once was one foot. Now both, but mostly right. Trying to understand/figure out new symptoms.

Members responded to a post about suspicious bruising by sharing their own experiences with unexplained bruises that seem to appear out of nowhere, with many noting they also don't know where theirs come from. Several members offered possible explanations, including muscle spasms, a genetic clotting condition called Factor V Leiden, easier bruising over time, and one member gently suggested the marks could be skin changes related to diabetes. A recurring theme was community warmth and encouragement, reminding each other that new and confusing symptoms are part of the journey.

I am not a dr so big grain of salt here, but is it possible this isnt bruising in the traditional sense, but rather the darkening patches of skin people who develop diabetes get sometimes? I mention it because a doc once told me that under the pit is a common location for it and also along other joints, for instance knuckles. I hope you sort it, whatever the source is. 🧡

I experienced this early on after diagnosis I was told from spasms at times you will see a unusual bruise . It will go away but it’s our bodies fighting and spasms that we may have not noticed.

I just ignore the bruises that appear as long as they don’t hurt.

I also have a lot of bruising but mine is due to a genetic condition called Factor V Leiden. I actually take an anticoagulant for the condition.
