I’m seriously considering purchasing an electric bike/scooter combo. When it’s ridiculously hot outside and I have to hoof it to my c/o , 5-6 blocks from the parking garage it can be brutal. Especially with my computer bag and files. Anyone have any good suggestions or feedback on brands, manufacturers experience etc. ? Thanks.😊✨🌻

Members shared helpful advice for someone looking into electric bikes and scooters to manage hot weather commutes with mobility challenges. Several members recommended four-wheeled folding scooters for stability and ease of transport, with brands like GoGo Pride Elite and Golden BuzzaroundEx mentioned as reliable options in the $700 to $1,100 range. A recurring theme was the importance of battery life, safety, and finding something foldable or easy to carry, with many members encouraging the original poster to get one sooner rather than later.

My scooter just died and I had to get one, I got a Go Go/Pride elite 3 wheel scooter. It had to fit in my bathroom and this one does.. it is really nice for a super basic one and it folds easily into 5 pieces to put in car if needed.
Price should be $700 to $1100 max. I hope you find what you need quickly . .

Get it while you’re able to use it. Maybe the exercise would benefit you especially to avoid the heat.

That picture is like mine. only mine was heavier. Mine was charger once a week and would go most of the week without re-charging. I felt very safe in that scooter, with the seat belt and head gear. In my wheelchair there is nothing in front of me and that is scary.
