Has anyone tried this stem cell treatment after numerous failed DMTS? Ive been readong into it. How can i ask my neuro if this is an option? Is there certain criteria?
I have done stem cell therapy. Not replacement but therapy. $15k down the drain. No benefit here.
I believe it's not approved by FDA for MS. and therefore no insurance coverage. PEOPLE go out of country. They used to go to Chicago but I think that's ended but not sure.
PS. I used to work at a bone marrow transplant unit. HSCT. I covered for another woman who was their nutritionist. I think it 'may' help those more who are newly diagnosed however it requires basically wiping out your immune system then building it back. Not without risk.

I agree with everyone. A huge expense, a long trip, and something that appears to be short term. But hey, if you got it , go for it 🤷♂️ It’s worth the risk👍
From all the information I have read the STEM cell treatment does work but reverts in about two years so short term fix only,
I failed the DMt's. I would love to try stem cells. Also a silly pet peeve is People say you must be on a DMT.
