I've heard of some people being taken off DMTs. But then I've heard that its a bad idea. Which is it?? I'm thoroughly confused, and sick and tired of feeling sick and tired! I am tired of Copaxone injections. Yet I'm afraid of the side affects of newer MS drugs! I'm seeing my Neurologist in a couple of weeks.

I did the funeral. Then I decided to call in a new prescription of copaxone. Oh the life and trials of this DAMN disease! It will NOT win! I am a WARRIOR .

I’m almost 69 and I’m still on my meds. I won’t give them up. Without my Tecfidera I go into exacerbation

Blessings and Prayers 🙏🏽💓 for All of Us who are over the age of 60, My neurologist also want to stop my dmts because I'm 61 and they said that it slows down as well although I'm the one that wanted to get off my Avonex injections because I am tired of injecting myself I feel the same way you all do about it as we get older and then I wonder what's going to happen when we do stop the injections when we get sick or what so it's a 50/50 thing here what do we do do we keep injecting or do we stop although there are pills as well so I think I would rather start the pill form and stop the injections either way I don't think we can stop taking our medications for MS I feel like we may relapse so family let's keep on keeping on on this journey we can't let Ms take us we are Warriors 💪🏾❤️☀️

Everyone has to make their own decision regarding treatment, at 69 I’m choosing to continue with Copaxone. The disease is unpredictable and affects each of us differently, I don’t see how I can determine what is a right or wrong answer so I have yo go with my gut. Hmmm 🤔 a person with Celiac going with their gut feeling, that should give you an idea of how confused I am 😉. Waiting for a controlled study before I give up any treatment.

What it boils down to, is that it's OUR choice. Just like it's my CHOICE, to not have anything done, to this small brain Anyrism. 🙃. God's got this! Plus... I'm not afraid of dying,... It's LIVING, that scares me! So ultimately, if you're of sound MIND, and can make your own decisions, than it's up to you, what DMTs you're on, or off of! We all are DIFFERENT, and what's good for me, may not be good for you!
